Pattern making & sewing
The College of Textile – DTM offered their studio for tailoring for final phase of our workshop. We spent a weekend working on patterns and sewing final clothing products. Students were experimenting with fabrics and textures, making sewing patterns and tailoring forms of their garments. Students managed to further develop their concepts and translate them thoughtfully into the form of clothes.
This weekend we had guest lecturer, Maja Gecic, who was talking about her research in the field of textile architectonics, textile interventions in space and textile installations.
